It wasn't until the final out was recorded during Thursday's 6th
Annual Pilgrim Open that real debate began. The question on everyone's mind was whether or not the "Iconic Swordsmen:
Legends of the Diamond" were the greatest wiffle ball team in world history. To those who witnessed the string of blowout
wins on Thursday it was hard not to be impressed. "The opportunity to be on the same field as a team that amazing was simply
sublime" noted opponent Adam Mazzoni. "If I had a time machine that allowed me to travel back in time to witness one
miracle-- I would travel backwards to about an hour ago and watch this game again...that's how good they were" said Joe Curtin
before adding, "If I could witness two miracles though I'd prolly watch the birth of Christ right after the game."
Another opponent, Joe Greene, added, "If being turned on by watching those guys play is wrong, then I definitely don't
want to be right." Richard Andino agreed by saying, "I'd would seriously eat a family sized jar of peanut butter for the chance
to be on a team that good for one inning."
